54 remote and best way to get to Apps

On the 40 remote apps came up hitting the blue button. On the 52 remote it has an Apps button. On the 54 I have to hit the home button twice and move to apps. Is there an easier way? I see it as an option in the star and double star buttons , but I already use them for CC and PIP. Is there a voice command to get Apps. I tried "apps" and "go to Apps"without success.

Press the voice button and say "open apps"
