622 - Jumbled DVR Recordings

Hi-

Seems when I have 2 timers recording seperate shows at same time, 1 channel's (invariably it is Fox Sports Pittsburgh 428 - taping hockey games) recording becomes corrupt in the oddest ways. It seems to record over itself - for example a 3 minute segment of the 1st period will record itself like 30 times in a 3 hour show. In between repeats is jumbled pixellation. FF and RW work very strangley as well.

The other recording is always fine. This has happened like 6 times for me - and always it is the FSN channel that gets the shaft.

Channel problem? Specific bad DVR problem? DISH problem?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Also, I picked up my 622 from a Sat. Guys sponsor store - Sadoun - will dish still offer a replacement should be deemed necessary or do I go thru vendor? Anyone else have any luck going this route?

First, have you tried watching live to make sure that this isn't a source problem? Assuming it is not, you have a bad 622. Call up Dish and they'll RA it and replace it.

also, it is screwed up when you do watch live. When you REV, the recording is all pixelated and it doesnt let you rewind to where you want the recording to go. Of course, if you just watch it live, it is okay. Just don't try and rewind.
