622 Problem

The sound on my 622 (primary TV) goes off every couple of days or so for a couple of hours at a time. In addition, I have been having spotty reception with certain channels coming through (Voom in particular, although others are also problematic on occassion). 75% of the time everything works fine, but then the sound goes out or certain channels don't come in. My wife had a Dish tech come to the house a couple of weeks ago, but of course everything was working fine at the time and he found no problems ($30 later). I'm pretty sure it's a switch problem (although I have no idea what that really means). Does anyone have any ideas? If I call Dish to come out and fix it, will I have to pay for another service visit? And what do I tell the brain-dead tech if he comes out and it's working fine when he visits?

Have you done a hard reboot - unplug the 622 then plug it back in.

You have 30 days from the last call for a no charge repeat call.
