622 Remote Problem

I'm trying to control my plasma TV with the 622 remote. (seems easy enough) Here's the problem. The remote will only turn the plasma off, not on. Dish csr asked if I had 1 or 2 buttons on the original plasma remote. I have 2. I figured out that the "ON" uses 1 channel and "OFF" uses another" Sure, I can use the Aux/Power button on the remote to do the on and TV/Power to shut off, which is cumbersome, but here is the strange thing. My previous 811 worked fine using only one code. Strange? Anyone else have this issue?

Sometimes there will be more than one code that will work to turn the tv off. There is only one code that will do both most of the time. Try scanning for another code that turns the tv off.
