622 - simultaneous hdmi and component signal?

I currently have a Slingbox connected via s-video to a 622. I was thinking of upgrading to a slingbox with component input. Does anyone know if the 622 outputs a video signal on the hdmi and component connections at the same time?

yes, it does. That is how alot of us get HD to a 2nd HDTV.

I am not familiar with Slingbox............how does that get hd to a 2nd tv?

If both hdmi and component are active, you can hook HD sets to each connection, and watch them both at the same time. Nothing to do with the slingbox.

I'm planning to use the slingbox component input to get the best possible signal to a pc (and later to a distant tv via slingcatcher).
