622 Weird thing happened when i got home

So, I leave tonight for a while, and when I get home the receiver says it is updating the memory, then the normal screen saver comes on and has little how to information bleeps on it.

I had not heard anything about that in the new software updates. Did I miss something?

Yup, its a new feature.. to help people learn how to use the box they have.. the rumor is most people don't know about half the features in the 622..

Well, I learned that I can move forward and backward through the tips via the "FWD" & "BKWD" buttons.

I came home today, and it said hook up the phone line for caller ID.

However the nice thing to know is that it configured the eithernet port without me having to do anything
