Have leased 942 and 625 on 'old' HD Pak & Voom (and Top 60).

If I BUY 622 and a 510, Can I return 942 and 625 and drop to only HD Pak, cut 1 DVR fee and have no 18 mo. commitment?

We get 8 OTA HD channels and never watch SD fuzz anymore and would save $30 monthly.

Obviously, buying a 942 would do the same currently but 622 would be more 'future proof' for $200 more.

I think that you could. I would be sure to add the 622 and 510 to your account first, then have them take off the 942 and 625. That should keep your existing programming.

They will charge you an extra $6 for OTA on the 622 without a "metal" package. Also $5/month for locals if you want guide data.

future proof?
how far into the future? 1yr - 2yrs? or more?

if so hold on to the 942 until they stop mpeg2

by then the 632?, 642?, 662?, 943? or whatever they name it.
will be out for $299 or even $99 and it will have all the
up to date features that you were hoping to get on your 942.

sorry I didn't realize you were leasing ( must learn to comprehend english, must learn to comprehend english, must learn.....) :)
