625 and third remote

I recently got a DVR 625 receiver and have both of the remotes that came with it working successfully. First one functions in IR, the second one in UHF. I have an old dish remote the standard universal UHF remote (not the pro 4.0 remote, the older one) and would like to get it working with the DVR 625. It currently works for the "1" tuner and allows me to do everything but DVR which is expected. However when it was installed i asked if it could be programmed to work with tuner "2". The installer tried something real quickly and said it would not work. Just wondering if i can program this remote to work on tuner 2. Essentially you could have tuner 2 feed 2 televisions and use the 625 remote with one tv and the old universal remote on another (minus the dvr buttons.) Thanks in advance, i appreciate the help.

If you can't get it to work , you can find the remotes for the 625 on Ebay for less than $10 bucks. I just got one for the same purpose you are describing.
