625 vs 522

Hi all..my year is almost done with direct and dish has some good offers out there..but the reason why I didnt go Dish was because of the 522 and people that complained about their problems..but now with the 625, is this better than the 522 or worse? I like the TIVO on direct but they are changing that around to a home brewed system, or am i wrong...what would you do??

Plus, I think in the long run, Dish is cheeper??

I have a bias opinion of the 522 especially the horrible refurbished ones. 625 pretty much is a 522 with On Demand PPV options. Honestly I think they are great recievers when they work properly. The one I have now I cannot trust to pause at it is always locking up causing me to miss programming.

Where are you located? Different areas have different promotions.

625 is dual tuner, so 2 TVs can have DVR functions for one $5 fee. I don't know anything about the 522.
