Saturday morning, I turned on my 722 to find that I had no signal, but could still watch recorded shows. I rebooted the 722 several times and did a switch check several times without any signal rweturning. The switch check showed that I had 119 signal only, which is very few channels. Finally, I pulled the receiver out of the cabinet and disconnected the cables and reconnected them. The programs returned immediately. The receiver is now working perfectly. I have not moved the 722 or any other of my component in months. How can I lose the signal, when a cable is connected?

Might be a bad/loose connector or cable. Check to make sure everything is tight and the connector(s) are pushed all the way down on the cable.

Sounds like a poor connection. As you live in FL, I'm guessing it had something to do with corrosion.
