722 Death

My 722k is dropping the signal every 5 minutes, then not responding to remote control input. Dish is sending a tech today to diagnose or replace it.

Would a 722 , 722k or 622 be more reliable ?

If you don't need the OTA tuners on the 722k, I would suggest the 722. It has only one OTA tuner, but the 722s have been very stable.

I have had a 722K since install, (oct. 2008) and have had not one problem with it. I do install Dish, pretty much do all "K's" now and have very few that crap out.

I must presume the tech on the phone had you do a power cord reboot?
