811 Feed Problem

I have an 811 and 522 hooked up. The 522 is working fine,no problems.
The 811 is having trouble aquiring a signal for 110 west. 119 is locked on and I get some channels, but no HD channels and some channels are spotty.
Called Dish today, they ran me through a bunch of checks restarts etc but no help. Made an appointment for Thursday for a tech.

Any idea what may be causing this?? Connections are OK. It seems strange that the 522 is working fine, but the 811 is failing. Both boxes less than a month old.

Check signal strength on TPs 11 & 12 on 110 & 119 on both boxes.

Swap the feeds at the (unknown type) of LNB (or switch). Ya know, it helps to know what your configuration is.

Try it again. Did the problem move?

What sort of LNB do you have? There's a known product problem with dual tuner receivers/811 combo using DishPro+ twins. For some reason the 811 has problems with this configuration.
