811 forever downloading update ?

Last night a family member turned on the 811 and it went to the downloading software update screen (Your receiver is now ~~~~~~ Do not unplug/disturb the rec'vr if the blue/amber lights are on~~~~~~).
Well....... this morning the blue/amber lights are still on.
I've never had a download take this long b4...............Is it Hosed?
Any suggestions?

Maybe, but I doubt it. Pull the plug for 15 seconds, plug it back in and see if it recovers. If not, call Dish tech support.
