I have a Dish 811, I just installed a Dish 1000 and I have a Dish 300 for the 61.5. I am using a dish Pro + 44 Switch. My 811 does not see the 129 sat at all in the signal pointing menu. I have unpluged the IRD and done a switch test several times. I do not get the 119 to test out either. I tested the 129 lnb w meter and I am getting a strong signal. My Software on the 811 is P335. Have I screwed up somewhere, or do I have to upgrade to the VIP211? Don't know if I want Mepg 4 yet.

I did setup the dish 1000 with the 129 lnb wired into the twin lnb.

That's the problem, IMHO. Disconnect 129 from the DPP Twin, put 119 on switch input 1, 110 on input 2, 129 on input 3, and 61.5 on input 4. Then run Check Switch. See if 129 shows up.

Did the move, but NO 129

I did like you said, I got back 119. I have strong signals on 110, 119, & 61.5. The 129 still does not show up, in the selection menu on signal meters page on the 811.

Maybe the receiver just needs to clear the switch matrix.

Disconnect satellite feed and run check switch.
Connect satellite feed and run check switch again.

Does anyone know if the 811's can see the 128 bird?

Just like my 510 doesn't see the HD channel, maybe the 811 doesn't see any of the 129 channels

since you have DPP 44 switch you have more receivers do they see 129? just wandering if you locked it on right satellite

Yes, 811's do see 129. That's where I get the VOOM 10 from.

Tie the 129 bird directly to a freshly reset receiver. By reset I mean disconnect all, reboot, then run a Check Switch with NOTHING attached.

Now, run a Check Switch and see if you get 129. If not, is it at least "DP Feed"?

If so, aim until you have 129. If not, you've got an LNB issue.

It Worked!!!

Doing the ird disconnect, then doing a switch test, then reconnect and repeat switch test worked!!!! Thanks guys!!!
