Was wondering if I can get 91W Gataxy 17 In Ottawa Canada?
If so what kind of dish required?
Can I use Conical scalar in my Wingard 1Meter dish?

latitude 45.4
longitude 75.7

First question... yes.
Second question.. not likely.
You would need a 6' dish to get C-band to really work. Some have been receiving the strongest transponders with 4' offset dishes and conical scalar combo but I wouldn't go that route unless you are quite experienced in setting up satellite equipment. Your Wingard dish is an excellent unit for Ku reception but I don't think there is any usable signals at 91W. If you are stuck using the Ku only dish I would recommend a DISEqC motor positioner, there are many satellites with good FTA content but you would want to move the dish from satellite to satellite.

WSI has a really good deal right now on 6' prime focus dishes. This would be a great starter dish and would likely get all the C-band signals on 91w.

Good luck!

According to the footprint map you're in an area where it's stronger than where I am. But not much. A 1M with a conical might, just might, get the strongest TP;s but I'd venture to say it won't get most of what's there. The WSI 6' prime focus, would be my choice.
