I have a simple question that I can't seem to find an answer for. I have a Dish 922 DVR with the 32.0 2G remote. I want to get a directional antenna to improve the #2 remote's range. All I can seem to find is that this is UHF. I tried a spectrum analyzer and did not see that the remote was transmitting anything between 300 mhz and 600 mhz. What RF frequency do these remotes operate on?

I have to question that. The remote says UHF. The 2.4 Ghz band is far from UHF. Additionally I see a lot of discussion about combining the receiver's remote RF input with the output that feeds TV's in other rooms and then putting the antenna for the remote control at the distant TV. This would not work through most regular splitters that don't go anywhere near as high as 2 Ghz. Also if they were in the same band as most Wi-Fi's and cordless phones I would think they would interfere terribly.
