with that being said how long do you guys think it will be until they release a new and improved hopper with more tuners and improved connection options?

I will wait to upgrade to the H/J set-up for that reason as my 2-722k's and 211k suit my needs well at this time...

I wouldn't put it past Dish if they announced plans for it during Team Summit in 2 weeks. If they did announce it I would think it could be ready by late next year. Who knows.
