942/622 TV2 and Remote Question

Well, I intend to pick up a 622 as soon as I can. I would like to use the TV2 output on and upstairs TV. the remote would have to go through 1 wall and a floor and will be 25' from the 622.
Will the remote work well at this distance?
I have never used a receiver from DISH that has this option and want to make sure it truly is an option for me.

I have a 522 with a UHF remote. The receiver is in the basement and one of the TV2 remotes is on the second floor, opposite side of the house. It's at least 50' straight distance through 2 floors and multiple walls. It works fine for me.
