942 video breakup

On three occasions, my 6 month old 942 (283) receiver causes video break up on all channels including off air, displaying noisy horizontal lines. Does not appear on any menu screens. The only way to clear has been to unplug the 942 for a minute or so. Any one else seen this problem?
