im wondering whitch is the best BSC621 ?their is 2 of them the:

bsc621-2 and bsc621 . i know the standard lmb i have no trouble finding most sat's but the universal lmb gave me trouble. i have the

bsc621-2 im wondering would the bsc621 be any easyier? beacuse its standard or wil it be an sob as well to find a sattelite.i had no problems to find g10r with an standard single lnbf made by digwav . imput 10.70-12.75ghz 0.3db (typ) but the fsku-v 9750
universal single lnbf gave me a pain in the ass.!!:(

I cannot imagine why a universal would be any tougher to use than a standard, as long as you have all of your settings correctly set (and as long as you are not using a 22k switch with a universal!) As long as the performance values are the same, the lnb's should perform equally as well.

In general, the BSC621 (universal or standard) type lnb's seem to be a bit more difficult to tune well for both C and KU band.

The universals won't work with some cheaper satellite meters. Also, if you're hooking up an analog receiver or 22k switch anywhere in your system, you'll want to avoid a universal LNBF.
