A few newbie questions.

Based on the news posted today about D* adding international programming middle of this month, I am going to take the plunge.

I did have a few questions however :

3 Rooms
Programming : Total choice Plus w/NY locals/HBO/International and HD on 1 TV.

Need 1 HD-Tivo receiver, 1 SD DVR, and the last one is for spare room so does not matter.

Are there any packages that would save me money including the receivers? Should I go to a local installer or just call DirectTV?
