Hi. To anybody who has had the chance to see both ADD's Networks in HD (Chicago and L.A.) and Directv's DNS (N.Y. and L.A.) how would you compare the picture quality of both. Which one would you recommend? Any opinions are appreciated.

Thanks!

picture quality aad wins hands down, but dish seems to have superior picture to direct tv imho.
with aad they will sell all 4 cities all they want is money.
with direct you can get both sets of sd but if hd central/eastern get ny hd only mountain/pacific get la hd only

depends which service do you have?

id go for directv over aad but thats me
the dns for directv is a lot more reasonably priced

What is the price for HD distants with DirecTV?
good ?, unknown heres a copy of my bill last month

on my bill hd dns big 4 from la shows as 0.00
where as the sd big 4 from la/ny are 3.50, per network i guess so 3.50 for cbs from la and ny. etc etc etc
cw sd from dc 2.50

With the rules at D* that you cannot get DNS if you already have your locals on the dish, I can't imagine too many people can get the distant nets on D*. Even a waiver from your local station will not help.
