ABC east with Blackbox

I'm having an issue with ABC in HD. The signal strength is good. However, after a little while a black rectangle appears in the lower center taking out 1/4 of the picture. When I change the channel to NBC I don't have this issue. Any ideas why?

Sounds like the closed captioning is on. Check the settings in the menu.

I don't think thats the case,because it would happen on all the channels.

It could be the text side channel, some stations have the regular, the closed caption, and a text side-channel, if the station does not have a text side-channel, the box won't show up (at least on mine it don't).

i.e. on my remote I have 3 modes, normal, closed caption, and text.

It could _still_ be the closed caption, and her TVs firmware may not display a box if no CC is detected.
