I currently have 3 dishes pointing at 110, 119, and 61.5. I found a place in my yard for 129.

I have them connected using SW-21X switches, with 119 and 110 connected to one sw-21x, and 61.5 and the 110/119 wires connected to a second sw-21x. Then that output to my 622. And I do 2 of these for the dual tuner.

Can I add 129 to the mix using this legacy eqpt? so 110/199 on one sw-21x, 129/61.5 on a second, then these 2 wires combined to a 3rd sw-21x, so the output has 61.5/129/119/110????

Right now, using my 2 sw-21x switches, the 622 calls it: "sw-21 3 sat"

What are you going to gain by adding 129? HD programming is duplicated on 61.5 that you are already getting. I think you would have to switch to Dish Pro to economically pick up 4 sat locations.

Well, nothing I guess. I was just curious as to if it is possible. I guess the question is if a 4 sat system is possible with legacy equipt?

I will be losing my 61.5 soon (It is in my neighbors yard, and he is moving end of August), so I was going to get 129 and play with it in the mix.

Being an Installer myself, i would stick with 61.5, 129 STILL is low powered. The highest i have gotten that damn thing is 88. But as in the K.c DMA if you are using 61.5 verse 129, you are losing some hd locals. Double edge sword i think...

And don't even get me started on this crappy lookin new 500 plus and 1000...lol
