Adding another HD receiver question

Right now I have an eastern arc dish with 3 coax's leaving from it going to the living room and 2 bedrooms. In the living room is a VIP722 feeding that TV and one upstairs, can I just get another VIP211K like is in the other bedroom and hook it right to the coax and use the 722 as a dedicated single mode DVR / receiver. I realize it will be another 5 or 7 dollars a month, just want to make sure it's easy to add with no complications. Thanks.
