All American Direct/MyDistantLocals

yeah thge site is down currently. when i called the lady i talked too didnt want to give me any info...she just said wait till the site is back up. but yeah, you need 119 and provide the roo and soo of your receiver. i am not sure if dish would even be aware of it.

I now get locals from Dish in SD. They have not turned on my HD locals yet. I also get All American Distant Locals. A few years ago, prior to the stations going digital, I got waivers from my local channels that I cannot receive an OTA signal. I live in a Canyon and the OTA analog signal had multiple shadows due to signals bouncing off the canyon walls. Most of my neighbors also got waivers. We had to go to each station and visit with the station managers. With digital signals many of us can now receive an reasonable HD signal on about 1/2 the available channels. However, All American still allows us to get their Distant Locals.
