Altitude inks 1st distribution deal with EchoStar

It would be the first distribution deal for Stan Kroenke's nascent regional sports network which will feature Colorado Avalanche and Denver Nuggets games. Douglas County-based EchoStar serves about 9 million satellite-television subscribers under the Dish Network brand. The deal would put Altitude on EchoStar's expanded basic package the source said.
