I won't give you an unqualified "yes"!
The answer is, it works when you have the new software release 0x42eb. This is now rolling out but it might be several weeks before everyone gets it. The AM21/H23 combination will not work with any earlier software releases.

No, they are still made. And they have been remarkably reliable, I am not sure what you mean by constant problems.
