Is starting to be pushed to internal, in-house techs’ Hopper 3’s for final testing

Great news! Amazon Prime Video has launched as an app on your Hopper 3! Now you can watch all of the Prime Video content you love, such as exclusive Amazon Originals or thousands of popular movies and shows, without the hassle of switching inputs.

You are receiving the app before we launch it to our customers, so please let us know if you encounter any issues by emailing us at xxxxxxxxxxxxxx@xxxx.xxx
Feel free to send us any other feedback as well! Your input is critical to ensure we’re providing our customers – and you – with the best possible experience.

This tells me a few things.
1) Soon they’ll be pushing it out to the general public.
2) it looks to me like it’s only going to be on the Hopper 3

Will you be sharing the functionality of the new app? Inquiring minds would like to know. I’d be very happy if I could access purchased movies and series from Amazon.

Not to mention wife training. Major factor for staying with Dish! Always has been.

I believe we don’t give wives enough credit with electronics, mine figured out the Roku after she found so much Food Network Programming on Hulu.

I can only go by what I read on the portal. Only a handful of techs have it now for testing, but i'll let you know as I find out

She’s suffering Chemo brain right now.

Mine has early onset Dementia because of Parkinson’s Disease and she still understood how to use it, again give them more credit.

Yeah, once my wife figured out not only Prime Video but also Netflix (when this was broken on the Hopper) on our Roku TVs and FireTV sticks, she doesn't use the Hopper any more. :(
