Power outage/cycle last night lasted less than a minute and took out my mini on CBand. Unplugged all night, did not recognize tv inputs with different cables or inputs, only the occasional flash of the logo. Seems to power off at random. Have yet to try rca cables but am busy reprogramming another stb for C. Any ideas? Repair or replace? Open up or send to factory?

Happy Testing!!!

HDMI ports in many devices are very susceptible to surges. I'd try the rca cable hookup to confirm. IF that produces audio/video, you'll at least then know it's a blown HDMI port.

Have you tried another TV with the Amiko?

Do other HDMI ports operate as normal with other devices?

I have serviced many TVs where a surge damaged the HDMI circuit on the main board.

I accidently hit my v.mode button and I was only getting the logo screen. When I hit the v.mode a few times it went back to the selected video mode.
