Total Living Network to join Sky Angel next month

Branding itself as "a fresh approach to Christian television," Total Living Network based in Chicago will be joining the Sky Angel lineup on approximately April 20 on Sky Angel Channel 9714. Founded by Jerry Rose, a television broadcast veteran of more than 40 years, TLN carries a wide variety of family and ministry programs, including Ten Keys for Unlocking the Bible; Newsmakers, where leading Christian experts debate issues of interest to the Church; Inspiration Sensation, a Christian music talent competition; Total Living with Jerry Rose, the network’s flagship talk show featuring one-on-one conversations with notable guests; and Aspiring Women, a women’s talk show produced by TLN which this year received the National Religious Broadcasters’ "Best Television Talk Show" honor. TLN is also involved in the production of original specials, such as The Da Vinci Code Deception, and is committed to producing new types of Christian programming to reach seekers and to build up the Church. Look for TLN on Sky Angel Channel 9714 in late April!

Now...notice how 9714 is now CTN. This means that CTN Detroit is also leaving the line up!

No word yet on the channel replacing INSP.

I received the E-newsletter after my last post to this forum. I wonder when/if Glenn Plummer develops his own "major television force" if Sky Angel will be an outlet? I guess time will tell. I do have respect for Glenn Plummer and enjoy watching CTN Live

Maybe the replacement for INSP will be a new and unique channel. Once again, time will tell

For anyone intereted, TLN is now on channel 9714. The channel looks and sounds pretty good. Content wise I have tuned in during a gospel music concert. It looks pretty good and sounded okay. See http://www.tln.com/ for more info.

Everyone, I wont say too much, nor will I mention how I know what I know, but, just hang in there.

Very soon now. It will be breakthrough. I'm nearly sure of it.

Plummer seems a nice guy, though I think there's more to him than we know, as there is with most tv evangelists.

However, Plummer cannot develop a tv force as sky angel has. If he does it will have to be on cable, and honestly I dont see any real chance of that happening as other cable companies will run him in the ground because they are so large.

Sky Angel has an orbital position, the last of it's kind to be given out, and when they started, Dish was very small and needed them for the transponders. Sky Angel's set up is very unique indeed and very secure in terms of force removal.

welcome :wave

Sounds like you are in the know of Sky Angel. If you have anymore info, please share it with the group :D

Lets just say Sky Angel is moving ahead. I live in the Northeast and know people up here who know a few things about the ongoings of these things. I'm dont want to say exactly what is happening as I may be wrong, but I'm nearly sure I'm not. It's positive progress for sure! Like I said, "breakthrough".

Interesting advisor survey

Will Sky Angel also go to nagravison 2?
