Android app keeps passing unwanted notifications

I have the Android app and every other day or so, I get notifications about random posts that I have not commented on, read, or interacted with in any way. I've turned off all notifications, unsubscribed all feeds, etc. Still it pushes notifications to me. At this point, the only solution I can really think to do would be to completely uninstall the app.

If you're getting email notifications look at the bottom of the email for a tap a talk unsubscribe link. Click on that and the notifications should stop. I was having a similar problem and that fixed it. In fact there's a thread about it a couple of lines below this one.

I have been having this same thing happen. I been getting random notifications on my phone. We need to put in a complaint to tapatalk. Seems they are still doing whatever they want. They need a new programmer or something.

This happens with the normal Tapatalk app for me.

It did it again tonight. I'm just going to get rid of the app altogether.
