I ran across this on ebay lst night and today I see it listed on Amazon, but only from one source, at about 150. Specs say it has component and HDMI output+composite but hard to tell from the picture. Wonder if it is a newer version of the X6 Ismart that was on Amazon (it must not've caught on) ??
Says it has US satellite list, is IPTV-ready, and US-designed/Korean made. It was interesting so I wanted to post for everybody. Can't see anything on the processor but says it has 2GB memory!

Some months ago, during the X2 discussions, I looked on Amazon to see what else X2 (the vendor) offered.
I think this model was listed then (?).
At least there was one in this price range.
Over time (9 months?) as the bugs were worked out of the X2, I could see no interest in other models from same vendor.

The X7 CPU is dual core, and wifi is built in.
I believe the X2 comes with a wifi adapter and is less than half the price. (about 1/3rd)
The rest of the items on the feature list sound similar, so...
it comes down to how well the features and functions are implemented.

Ill let some adventurous person be the ginnea pig. ;)

Yep they had, or may still have that Ismart X6 on amazon for about the price of the X2HD box, but it is , I think, generally the same thing with a difference in name only lol.
This one claims Korean manufacture and US design+IPTV . Seems like there would be some blather about it somewhere out there , especially if there was some US organization behind the project. Perhaps there will be when they become more known.

Yep, same people as the X2. the X7 is the upgrade model, no idea how it would be better for what we use a receiver for. Its damned hard to beat 54.00 for a X2..I just bought my second one. :D

The differences may be in the IPTV capability.
Since I have that covered with a dedicated box (Western Digital TV Live Plus), I don't pay close attention to such features.
Still, it'd be hard to justify an extra $100 for that capability (over the X2).
Perhaps the dual core CPU buys something that's not apparent.
