Understanding that I will only have two channels, must I have a Solo Node installed between the dish and the Hopper for a temporary installation?
Thanks,
Topcat112

Your Hopper will work without a solo node installed. But it will only get two tuners when you do that instead of three. So no you don't HAVE to use it, but in order for it to work like designed, it needs one.
