another upgrade question

I called and ordered the 25$ upgrade to the 612 dvr. Didnt know this at the time. They told me it was a dual tuner which i assumed was a 2 room dvr. Didnt realize it was just for one room.


Couple of questions i hope you all can answer better then dish csm.

1. Does this replace the recevier i have a 625 or will it be a additonal receiver.
2. Can i call and cancel the 625 if it is a upgrade.
3. If i keep the 625 will i be charged 2 dvr 5.95 fees.

You don't have to remove the 625, you can keep it or cancel the upgrade, not sure what will happen if you were already charged the $25. You will be charged two dvr fees if you do not have at least the dvr advantage package, in that case you will only be charged for the second receiver or should you have the all everything package, all dvr charges are included and you will not be charged any dvr fees. I have two 622's and a 722 with AEP and incur no dvr fees at all.
