Here's our question: we just purchased a travel trailer that is wried for CATV and off-air TV. There is an off-air antenna w/ electric booster (Winegard). The trailer appears to be wired with RG 6 cable. We want to plug in a satellite TV. We have obtained a signal using a cable that is marked CATV* when wired directly to the TV. However, when plugged into the trailer cable we do not receive the signal. The off-air antenna does work. Do we need an adapter or something to convert or sync the two types of cables?
Thank you, KS
I think this is RG59 although it is not marked that way.
