I am switching to Directv from Dishnetwork. I currently have a VIP-622 and am well stocked with UHF remotes to run all the TV"s on the second tuner. Directv is bringing a HD-DVR and a SD-DVR. Any chance I can run the SD-DVR with the Dishnetwork UHF remotes?

Thanks.

It might come with a dual-mode remote. Some of mine have. If the remote has a FCC sticker on the back it will do RF but will be initially set for IR and you need to go through a setup procedure. If you need to buy a RF remote, there is a place on the Directv web site to order one DIRECTV - Remotes. They ship quickly (FedEx). $25 for a backlit model with RF, including shipping.
