I want to get PBS Kids back, which is shown as DCII on AMC3 tp20 (ku band). From what I read, I know that I need a 4DTV reciever to do so. those receivers (DSR 905, 920, 922) are expansive even for a used unit. I don't intend to get C-band ( Wife won't approve). So is there any cheaper way to get DCII program? I knew many other motorola receivers like dsr401mn, dsr410ds, dsr405, etc, are DCII capable. and they are relatively inexpensive. but their firmware is not compatible to FTA DCII, right? is there anyway one can modify such a receiver to receive Ku-band DigicipherII programs? Thanks!

StarChoice receivers cant be used for anything other than SC
4DTV needs to be connected to C-Band to get the channel maps.
