Now that the Sat Expo is over, I thought that we would have some news regarding Directv's plans with the new HD DVR, HMC and the Directv to go. Hopefully we will get some news soon. Afterall, what was the point of the Expo without news of new product announcements and availability.
Any real news from Sat Expo?

The folks at the DirecTV booth were there to deal with dealer issues, and while they had the HD DVR on Display no one knew anything about it.
I asked about the new Slimline Dish and they had zero clue what I was talking about.

The Expo was actually excellent, its just that DirecTV was not there to show off new products for us (since we were basically the only press there) it was to help their retailers out with issues and to bring new retailers on board.
I find it funny how they (DirecTV) are there to help dealers and find retailers.. when in fact it seems to me that they are doing the exact opposite..
