Anyone a fan of the Canadian Football League?

they use both ;)

I think they keep it consistent for sports.

When I speak to Canadian folks for my job they usually say the temp in Fahrenheit...unless its a rep in Quebec...then its metric all the way :)

Interesting.

So when they say football is a game of "inches", I wonder if the CFL considers it a game of "centimeters"?

OK, I'll stop now with my poor attempt at humor... :)

Back in the 90's Rocket Ismail was a huge Signing for the CFL...

IF you have ever watched there games, there endzones seem to go on for ever!!

How is it screwed up?! Dude, think outside the box.... IT is "all screwed up" because you are use to the way the fields are for college and the NFL.
It is screwed up. Everyone knows a football field is supposed to be 100 yards long. And goal posts on the goal line? Hey why not put them on the 20 yard line? We invented the game so why do the Canadians mess it all up? I'll respect their rules for hockey. It's the same in basketball. Who were the geniuses in international ball who created the trapazoid lane? Save those "improvements" for the WNBA.

No...it is not screwed up, they added their own little touch. There use to be no shot clock in basketball ......There once was no 3-point shot....? Pitchers in the American League use to bat for themselves....You use be able to clothes line in the NFL....And if I am not mistaken, you once could trip too.....

But I see you have no issues changing the WNBA....why? Because women play it?! Because 'your sport' isn't being changed? ALL SPORTS are NOW international and if it helps the sport to grow in other countries....who cares?

The English invented Rugby, why did we mess it up by changing it to what American Football is today.

Everyone sets their own rules. Just look at the differences between the NFL, NCAA, and High School football.

I only watch "real" football, you know, like the Detroit Lions play.
HAHAHAHA :D

When I was stationed in Japan, I loved watching [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_rules_football"]Australian rules football - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia@@AMEPARAM@@/wiki/File:AFlmatch2.jpg" class="image"><img alt="AFlmatch2.jpg" src="http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/47/AFlmatch2.jpg/300px-AFlmatch2.jpg"@@AMEPARAM@@commons/thumb/4/47/AFlmatch2.jpg/300px-AFlmatch2.jpg[/ame] on Star TV. Now that was a game for real men.

CFL, AFL, NFL more like parellel development. However the Grey Cup is the oldest league championship game.
Real football you mean that's played outdoors in the elements and where players can celebrate their touchdowns? That would be the CFL. :)
