I was wondering if these dishes are any good, I found one for 20 bucks and was planning on using it. I don't know much about it. will it pick up most of c band channels, I know this does not have a motor, any info would be nice.

If this is your dish, it was made in Korea. It will probably get some of the C Band channels on a satellite.

I know this does not have a motor.
Does it have a polar mount (motorizable)?
If it's on a fixed mount, I wouldn't waste my time...UNLESS, there was a single C band bird I wanted.

If it had a motor, then $20 would make a fine learning experience.
But since it doesnt, what would one cost?...
I just don't like to see people investing $100 or more in a too-small dish.
?
Most any used 8' or 10' BUD will have a serviceable motor, and can be found from Free to $100.
?I'm going to recommend you keep shopping.
