Just wondering what kind of credit score you need to get approved for the Apple Card ? Is the card worth it ? I’ve heard of people having really good credit scores and getting approved but for higher than normal interest rates . Anyone who has the card if you could share your experience so far with it .

It's been over a decade since I carried a balance on a credit card so I don't know much how that works today. But, I don't think the Apple Card is any advantage for that purpose. Here is what I think Apple Card offers me:

A layer of security over traditional plastic credit cards
Cash back discounts on merchandise purchased where Apple Pay is accepted.
Convenience of never having to produce a card at the counter. I just hold my Apple watch to the credit card terminal and the transaction is complete in about 3 seconds, no signature either.
To pay my Apple Card bill, I just open the wallet app and select pay

i have used mine once to buy a new imac. had to call the card support because my bluetooth wasn't working. was able to use card manually.

If you carry no balance, and you should carry no balance, you can get far better deals with an affinity card from a hotel chain, airline, or other activity you enjoy.

If you have an Card and were thinking about the new iPhone 11, how about 24 months of no-interest payments plus the 3% back for using the Card to purchase an Apple device?

I saw that in my account. They stopped billing my checking account and put the payment on my Applecard and then gave me 3% off the billing as well. I put a reminder in my calendar to pay the Applecard a few days before it is due.

Also, all my prescription co pays and any purchases at Walgreens are now at 3%. Better than my BJ's Mastercard which is only 1% cash back.

I need help with my Apple Card.

I have been using the Apple Card with my Apple watch and see all the cash back amounts listed with each transaction. But when I make a payment on my balance the cash credits are never deducted from what is paid by my checking account. Then the cash back amount just disappears. So I contacted Apple and they transferred me to Goldman Sachs. Their representative said I had to set up an Apple Cash account and my cash back credits are in there. I was misinformed into thinking that the cash back was deducted from my bill but that is not the case.

So I found how to set up Apple Cash account. But still don't know how to access the balance which has gotten significant over the past couple months.

What do I do to get that money deposited to my checking account? Or, must I spend it like a debit card as opposed to using the Apple Card? I would prefer to receive the money so my next purchase generates another cash back credit.

After some research I found this video that explains how to send my Apple Cash Balance to my Checking account. Hope this helps anyone else who is having trouble navigating through all this new way to access your money. Note- paying a credit card bill with Apple Pay cash incurs a fee, but moving your money to your checking account is free.
