So, you reverted to Mavericks, and then reinstalled Yosemite a second time?

Nope I reverted to Yosemite before I started screwing with it.

You are a braver man than I am. I use too many specialized programs to risk any one of them not working. But I am definitely jealous.

time machine, and a offsite backup (crashplan)...and yes she would make me fix it and then kill me for sure.
