Is the ASI output on the back of my DSR4810 usable if at all???

The manual says:

"ASI output - 270 Mbit DVB Asynchronous Interface
Outputs the entire transport stream with the selected program decrypted."

Wiki says it is audio but I do not understand the specs. There are several types of adapters available on Ebay but I do not understand what this can be hooked up to so I do not mess things up. ;)

I use it to connect my HDD-1000 high-def decoder that has ASI in. This is on my Digitrans DTE-7150TA, which is the same receiver as your 4810.
