Audio stuttering on ViP622 recorded shows

Yeah, dropouts is a better term. I can see my receiver's audio channel lights flashing when this starts happening.

That's an indication of hardware failure. I had a 411 that did this and had it replaced.

It happens to me on every recorded show from DiscoveryHD. It also happens frequently on shows recorded off air from CBS.

The audio stuttering happens for me on NeoHD and CBS. It seems to be a problem with audio recorded in 5.1 digital.

I've only seen it so far on ESPN2HD. It's happening on 2 different recordings.

Engineering is aware of the situation and they are looking into it. Nothing to do with the recent software update. Just coincidence I guess.

Yeah - Coincidence...... Not likely given it's been running fine for the better part of a year and now starts acting up after a new s/w release is rolled out... Spin it anyway they want - it's broken...

I've had it on recorded audio that was not 5.1 digital.
