I have several Azbox Premium Plus boxes here at a small B&B I had one go down recently due to the power supply and I had a Premium that I bought new a few years ago, my 1st AZbox, when I bought the premium I did not know it did not blind scan...So I loaded it manually and used it a bit before I got the Premium Plus boxes... I was trying today to see if I could load the channel.bak file from my plus box to the premium, but I get "restore fails".
I was wondering is that a software problem. Does the Plus and the Premium use the same software? If i were to have the same software on both boxes would it load??
Or is that a hardware problem, and just won't happen??
I have not tried the channel and satlist editors because I can't find one for MAC..I do not use any other computers...
So:
1. Is there a decent premium AZ satlist/channel list editor for Mac out there??
2. Does anyone have a premium Channel.bak file they would send me??
3. How can I use a Premium plus channel.bak file to restore to a Premium box??
