Hello Guys,

Just got a new Azbox Premium, replacing my Pansat 3500. I originally set it up
on the last Sat I was viewing on my 3500, which was 74 West. All was well.
Then I set up the Azbox to drive it to 123W. It moved correctly and I locked in on the
Pentagon channel.

However, it will not drive East. I can go out and hit the button on the motor (SG2100)
to drive it east, but cannot get the Azbox to do it.

Any suggestions? I'm sure I've got something set wrong. Thanks!

Mark

Meverly,

As Lak asked, was 74W set up for a motor control? If it was, and you used DiSEqC 1.2 positioning, did you remember to SAVE/STORE the defined position? If you set it up to use USALS, did you enter your site coordinates (latitude and longitude) and were they properly entered (i.e. longitude didn't remain at XY.Z degrees East when it should have been XY.Z degrees West)?

Guys,

I finally got this to work. I went outside, drove the motor to 0, then reset it.

Now it is fine. I had forgotten some of my troubleshooting ideas, as the motor
hasn't given me any trouble in a few years.

Interestingly, the Azbox is working dead on with USALS, not like my Pansat that always seemed to "drift".
