AZBox: You Tube

All I can say is..... I LIKE IT!

This is awesome! I haven't even tried to set up the satellites yet and I am going crazy fun with this AZBox Premium. I have been checking out the You Tube mode and listening to CCR, Bob Welch and Charlie Pride. (FYI: Press OK button for full screen, press again to return to normal view).

I need to figure out how to incorporate a wireless keyboard to make the navigation easier, but it works pretty well as is. Has anyone connected a wireless keyboard to the AZBox? Does it work well? If you have some pertinent instructions regarding the setup, please let us know.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I am very impressed and very happy!

It is factory set to use You Tube, but also the WWW. I haven't got as far as hulu or other sites yet. Right now I am working on scanning channels and editing sats/TPs. Slight snag here, I cannot seem to be able to enter a new TP.

I have a question for anyone who can possibly answer. The AZBox is working excellent, but I do have a slight bug... Near the upper RH corner of the screen, the video resolution for the channel that I am watching is constantly displayed in a small black box. I cannot seem to get this "message box" to go away. Does anyone know how to turn this off?

I haven't updated the firmware yet, just playing with it as it came straight from the factory. It has version 0.9.1930 TD210SP installed. Also, I picked up the Premium AZBox, instead of the Elite, I assume there may be some slight variations in the firmware.

P.S. The message box regarding the video resolution has gone away on its own.

I'd recommend you update to version 9.2371 , which is compatible with the 9.7b channel editor . Seems a stable release.

Damn ! Make sure you have 9.7b , not 9.7 on the editor. This combo is the only one I've seen that works for me.
