Edision Can you local-stream Mood music over Enigma2 receivers?

Tried something tonight that I figured should work, but for whatever reason it doesn't seem to be.

On my OS Mio and my OS Mini I've tried to stream a tuned in Mood music TP on 101w using VLC. It's not working....

I confirmed the audio actually works on the TV for the tuned station, but the stream link does not play. Is this to be expected? If so, it is a codec thing, or some other limitation?

Or what I'm really hoping for is someone to say, nah, you need to turn this setting on/off in your receiver settings, then try it again... Any ideas?

Well a lightbulb came on and I tried it with Potplayer, and sure enough it plays that MPEG-TS audio fine. So I'm guessing VLC just has some issues with doing the same.

Kodi will stream the Mood music from E2 too, but it takes like 30 seconds before it will start playing audio. I suspect its working through the large PMT data and waiting until it gets a complete picture before playing. As for VLC, yea, PotPlayer seems to do a much better job streaming, which is why i switched from VLC to PotPlayer about 1 1/2 years ago.
