Bacteria found on 3-D Glasses in Several Movie Theaters

take a wet wipe when you go see a 3D flick, I do with the kids movies.

The "one use" RealD glasses that people return to the recycling bins are actually sent to a facility to be inspected and decontaminated, and are then re-packaged for reuse. This is possibly how the contamination got on sealed glasses.

Polarized 3D IMAX glasses that are used with the 15/70 film system are actually washed and disinfected on site at IMAX theaters. That's why they expect you to return them as you leave instead of having the option to take them home with you.

Bacteria is everywhere! This is just another anti 3D POS propaganda by idiots who fabricate FUD. What a bunch of losers!

Common bacterial infection of the eye is pink-eye. How many have experienced a case of pink-eye after watching a 3D movie wearing those public glasses? I think your dangers are statistically much greater getting mugged in the theater parking lot, getting food poisoning from bad food at the concession stand, getting pick pocketed from a thief sitting behind you, and choking on popcorn while laughing at a funny scene in the movie.
